A. 1. No you can not get it the same day, it usually takes about a month. 2. It depends, if you have everything they ask for, the interview takes less than an hour. 3. Yes if you met the requirements you can receive benefits. 4. Usually they ask for your ID, SSN, proof of address, proof of income(all the people that live with you, even if your not applying for them), rental agreement(if you rent), proof of mortgage payments (if you own your house), they are going to ask you about you assets. 5. You need to participate on the training and job programs(you are required to do so) or they will suspend your benefits. The only way that you don't participate in these programs is, if you are disable or you can prove that you can't for some reason. [cont.]

A. I just had to change mine, there should be an 800# on the back of the card. I did it online, I think it works immediately either way. Here's the website I used. https://www.ebtaccount.jp morgan.com/JPM%5FEFS/

How long does it take to get your Michigan EBT card?
Q. I applied for assistance back in March and had a interview with my caseworker on March 26th. She told me she would contact me by mail. On May 26th, I finally got a letter in the mail stating that I had been approved for food stamps beginning March 26th, and it listed how much I would get for March, and then how much a month after that. It's been over three weeks and I still have not recieved my card in the mail. I was just wondering, is this normal? I have tried contacting my caseworker a few times but she has yet to respond. I got food stamps about 2 years ago, and I didn't know if they just put them back on that card or what, but I lost that card from 2 years ago in a housefire. If anyone could please help, I'd really appreciate it.… [cont.]

How long does it take for child support to start?
Q. My ex and I went to court a month ago over custody of the kids. I was awarded custody and he was ordered to pay child support. It has been deducted from his paycheck for a couple of weeks now. I haven't received anything in the mail saying when I will get it. How long does it normally take in the state of Missouri to receive it. Is it by check, direct deposit, or on an EBT card?

A. Since you're the mother, 30-60 days. If you were the father, 6 months to infinity. \\\

Relationship doubts (Long post ***over 25 only please***)...?
Q. Hello. I'll try to make this as short as I can... 7 months ago I thought I met my dream girl. Sweet, absolutely gorgeous, educated, spiritual. Things went fine for first two months until the real her started to submerge. She started telling me that she's not as affectionate as she had been acting. Whatever, not a major deal. After about 4 months, we started getting in the mode of these arguments that start up over nothing. I can care less about the argument. My issue is with how disrespectful she would act, yell, insult, hang-up on me. In the heat of the moment, obviously both people aren't on their best behavior, but I'm not used to being in a position where I'm literally getting told off, and that I don't know anything, I talk… [cont.]
